The population of South West Sydney, with Liverpool City as its capital is growing at 2.3% per year, almost twice the NSW average. Liverpool City has good access to and from the major M5, M7 and Hume Highway road arteries. In addition there is a range of low-cost parking options available in the City Centre. Liverpool has excellent passenger and freight rail infrastructure and is serviced by a number of rail lines. There are 35 bus stations spaced 800m apart along the rapid bus transit-way, connecting the cities of Parramatta and Liverpool to Western Sydney. The Sydney International Airport is less than a 25-minute drive from Liverpool. The new international airport at Badgerys Creek will be a 20 minute drive from the Liverpool City Centre.
